The Erickson Family: Fun Visitors!!

Last month we had lots of family visit us!

Here is a picture of Jayden and Daddy "pretending" to ride on a train. Jayden was the conductor, and wanted daddy to be his passenger. All aboard!

While the train passengers rode to their destination,

this little guy was playing with Grandpa.

Jayden loves to look at pictures of himself after they are taken. :)

Jayden was given some bugs that light up in the dark at his gift-exchange party (thanks Baylee!), and he wanted to show Grandma how they worked.

Jayden came to me while I was making dinner and told me he couldn't be a train conductor without a whistle and overalls that had a pocket. That's an easy fix! We found some stickers to attach a napkin to his shirt (for his overall pocket), and I rolled up a piece of paper and taped it to a hat for his whistle. He was pretty excited.

"Choo-choo!"

I absolutely love his imagination!

Later that day, we had a visit from my grandparents who live in Apple Valley. They came to have an early dinner with us, to see Jenn and her kids, and visit with all of us.

That morning, we finally finished our Build and Grow project. The train car has an engine that pulls the coal car and trolley car. We actually packed these away with our Christmas stuff until next year. They came out so cute.
