Vacation!

Jamie and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! We headed to my favorite resort (in Indio) and stayed for a week. My mom watched the boys the first few nights so we could celebrate the two of us, and then we picked up the boys and headed back so the boys could celebrate with us too!
Jamie and I enjoyed meals out, shopping, went to the movies, and went for nice walks late at night. We discussed how truly blessed (and thankful) we are. We have great communication and love for each other, we have two amazing (and adorable) boys who bring us so much joy, a supportive extended family, and we have found a church family that we share life with throughout the week. We are so thankful!!
When the boys joined us, we spent the majority of our time at the pools. Brady was a little freaked out at first, didn't want to wear his swim trunks (that's why he is in his clothes in these pics...he changed his mind), but LOVED it after a few hours. This resort has 2 parks, a Lazy River, 2 large pools, 2 kiddie pools, a splash pad, and about 7 spas. It also has a movie theatre designed for kids, daily crafts, and kid's game nights. We love it here! :)
Jayden starts swim lessons again at the end of the month, but he is doing quite well with what he learned last year. He holds his breathe, goes under, and blows bubbles. Brady tries to copy what he does. :)
Having fun with Daddy
The pools shade in the afternoon and it is the perfect time to swim!
Jayden enjoyed riding his scooter all over...
Daddy and his boys
Complete relaxation :)
Jayden loved the Splash Pad!
Painting Snakes

This is only half our pics from our vacation, but once again...blogger is telling me I'm out of picture space. :( Instead of the $20 to upgrade like last year, it is now a monthly fee and is $30 for the year. I just can't see paying money to keep a blog when there are so many other ways (and MUCH MUCH easier ways) to share life with us. I keep Facebook updated on a daily basis, and started using Instagram. Hopefully you'll be able to use one of those. You can create a Facebook account and only have family members as friends so that it won't take you long to view pics everyday. Blogging has been fun...but not going to keep paying the increased monthly fees.

We had a great vacation, friends came out and spent the day with us and I have the cutest pics of the boys in our room playing together. Bummed about Blogger.

Catching up!

I have fallen SO behind on blogging, but I am going to try to catch up! Most of my pictures are now on Facebook since I can upload directly to it from my phone. Here we go...
Jayden finished Cubbies a few months back! We are so very proud of him. He loved his bible homework, was amazing at memorizing verses,
and enjoyed learning about Jesus with his friends.
I posted awhile back on his song and performance,
but here are a few pics from my camera...
 Buddies!
Jayden also started his second year of t-ball!
Brady can't wait to play too!

Here are a few pics from his first practice. It was cold!
(this was 2 months ago)
Brady enjoys playing the games on Mama's phone during practice.
Nate and Everest are on Jayden's team this year. (Ev wasn't there yet)
Daddy was able to make it to the first practice!
(they are during his work hours, but Mama takes lots of pics!)
Jayden was happy to have him there...
We went to Fullerton to celebrate Jim's birthday. (in May)
 Taking some measurements
 Practicing for tball
 Funny boy
 Giving Grandpa his gift
 Grandpa and his boys
Jayden wanted to make sure we had a "party" for Grandpa!
We stopped for decorations on our way.
Blowing out his candles, the boys loved it!
Jayden wanted to scoop the ice cream.
He really is an amazingly great helper!
Reading in pjs before heading home.
Jayden knows 10 site words, writes his name with perfect letter formation (very important for neat penmanship) and can read a sentence with 5 words. He was showing Grandma all he words he could read in the book. I am one proud Mama! :)
I'll try to catch up with more later...have a great weekend!
