Over the years, we've decided that it's better to celebrate Valentine's Day the day before (or after) the real holiday. The restaurants are usually empty, and it's easier on our boys to enjoy a night out, without the crowds. We continued that tradition this year! We waited for Daddy to get off work, then headed to BJs, to celebrate our special dinner!
Jayden was so excited to order his special Rootbeer! Since they make their own, there isn't caffeine. :) We enjoyed appetizers, and then all ordered our own little mini pizzas. We talked to the boys about how special they are to us while we waited for our food.
Coloring before the food arrives...Brady can't handle the flash on my phone, it is bright!
So. in all these pics, his eyes are closed. :)
After we had appetizers and pizza, we ordered dessert! Pizookies! Yummy!
The boys enjoyed our special night together. Jayden turned to Jamie during dinner and said, "Thank-you so much for bringing us on a special Valentine's Dinner Daddy!" My heart melted!
Chocolate face!
Being Silly!
"Brady, too!"
At the end of our special dinner, Brady grabbed his sippy and said, "Cheers!" It was so cute, and the perfect way to end our dinner. When I asked Jamie if he enjoyed our special dinner, he said, "Our boys are a product of our love, and it is important to celebrate our love with them, too!" I couldn't agree more! (isn't he the best daddy, ever!?!?)
After dinner, we took the boys shopping and let them each pick out a special toy. We came home and exchanged cards and gifts (we weren't supposed to buy for each other, but we both broke that agreement! Ha!). We feel so blessed by our boys and our love for each other.
Happy Valentine's Day!!
Cute! We did Valentines Day as a family too! :)
