Family, Park, and Bees!

This past Monday, Grandpa and Grandma came to visit!
They couldn't believe how big Brady had gotten. He's a BIG boy!
Brady was excited to read books with Grandpa...
and show off all his cool "tricks!"
He enjoyed finding the shapes Grandma was hiding from him!
Jayden was so excited to see his Grandma and Grandpa, too.
Playing with the Elmo shape sorter with Grandma
 Our little Viking!
Grandma was teaching Jayden how to do the "Little Steeple" Rhyme
"Here's the church, and here's the steeple
Open the door and see all the people."
On Thursday Night, Lorinda and I decided to pack a dinner and head to the park for a picnic. We were trying to beat the heat by waiting to have our playtime/picnic in the evening, but the car said it was 98 degrees when we left around 5:30pm. The boys didn't mind though.
 Cheese!
 Park Fun!
There are two parks at this location, a smaller one for Brady's size, and then a bigger park. Brady was so excited to climb on things his size!
Jayden and Brady talking to Samuel
 Samuel talking back!
I love that we live across the street from Scott, Lorinda, and Samuel.
I know these boys are going to have a ton of fun growing up together!
 "Hanging out"
 My other little monkey
Jayden is so long and tall!
Samuel and Brady wanting to hang from the bar
 Big boy!
Samuel fell and got hurt, so Jayden put his hand on Samuel's shoulder to make sure he was, "okay."  He also bent over and kissed Samuel's "owie" on his shin. Can't wait to tell them these stories when they are in high school. They are such sweet boys, we are enjoying every minute of them being 3!
We headed to Frugos for dessert!
These two enjoyed the water fountain more than their ice cream.
These are random pictures, but I'm going to post them anyways. :)  Jamie was out of town for 5 days and during his time of being away, a swarm of bees decided to make our backyard their home. We called our bug man to come out and take care of the bees, and when he did, he said there were 4-6 THOUSAND bees. I am SO thankful that no one got stung. I am also thankful they are GONE!
The next day, Jamie went out to clean up, and found the honeycomb the bees had been working on. The blue thing under the honeycomb is a frisbee. There was a lot more, but Jamie just brought this in to show me.
There was honey dripping off of it. The bees are dead.
Now, I understand where the phrase, "BUSY BEES" comes from! Yikes!
