Build and Grow - Fire Truck!

On Saturday, we went to another Build and Grow Project. It was a Fire Truck! The city sent 3 real fire trucks to Lowe's and the kids got to sit in and check out the trucks. They were SO excited!
Brady wanted to push all the buttons.
 Fireman Brady
He didn't care much about watching brother build, but he did LOVE to sit in the fire truck. Since all the kids were working on building their fire trucks, Brady had the truck all to himself.
 Time to build!
Building with friends - Nate and Carter

Jayden is doing so well with the hammer!
The Lowe's Building Crew - Jayden, Carter, Nate, Reed, and Paige
(We missed you, Samuel!)
I think Uncle Tim was asking Jayden for help! :)
Daddy and Jayden - Daddy lined up the wood, and Jayden hit the nails through.
Great team!
Great concentration
Brady wanted to check it out!
Then...it was back to sit in the fire truck again!
Such a fun event for the kiddos!
(and parents, we love it too)
 All done!
Check out all the patches Jayden has earned!
 One very happy little boy!

These two boys love fire trucks!
Jayden and Reed
Jayden is my social butterfly. He talks to everyone, and we are working on NOT inviting strangers over to play at our house. :)  When he finished his truck he told me, "Mommy, I need to go show the fireman my truck."
All the fireman were so great with the kids.
 Saying goodbye!
When we got home, there was a praying mantis waiting for Jayden
outside the garage.
Jayden let it crawl ALL over him!
It crawled on his head, back, shoulders...everywhere!
Jayden just giggled. It's on his arm, can you see it?
These pictures are from a few weeks ago...
Daddy and Jayden took our girls (Abby and Izzy) for a run!
Jayden did so well jogging next to Jamie.
He was so proud of himself for holding Abby's leash.
Here are a few random shots...Brady is so funny!
While I was cooking, he was "helping" me by wearing the hot pads.
He thought he was too funny!
Whenever I get out the box of Mr. Potato Head to play with, Brady ALWAYS grabs the glasses and puts them on...upside down. He leaves them on until I take them off. He cracks us up!
Hope you have a good week!
