Jayden and I were working on his Cubbies homework for the week and he was asked to draw what he thinks heaven looks like. He drew this picture and then I asked him to explain it to me. He said he drew a house because God has a house for everyone. He then pointed to the next picture and said, "There are lots of smiling faces in heaven because people are happy, they get to see Jesus." It is so simple yet so true.
He continued on to say, "When we die we will go to heaven." We haven't discussed death so the conversation surprised me, but went like this...
Jayden: When we die, we will go to heaven.
Me: What does "die" mean?
Jayden: It is when we grow old and get rusty.
Jayden: It is when we grow old and get rusty.
This boy seriously keeps me laughing! Love my time with my boys!
