More Cell Phone Pics!

Remember Jayden's friend, "Magic Rex?"
Well...he likes to go everywhere with us now, even to the donut store! Jayden makes sure to buckle him in because he says, "He never wants anything to happen to his special friend."
(Of course we go to the donut store in our pjs! It's 6am! Ha!)
Jayden is such a goofball! He has a chore chart hanging in his room and if he completes all his chores for the week, we go to the Dollar Store, and he gets to choose his prize. Yesterday, he wanted to choose this cool thing...he said, "Mommy, I just want to be really funny and make people laugh." Jamie was one proud daddy! When we were praying together that night, Jamie thanked God for giving him a little boy with such an amazing, kind, and funny personality. I love it!
Jayden has 6 chores to do and he is excited to do them everyday. He takes pride in each one and runs in to tell me he's ready to have the next chore "checked" so he can earn another star. His chores are 1. Make his bed, 2. Clean up his room, 3. Get dressed, 4. Brush his teeth, 5. Empty all the trashes upstairs, and 6. Write his name on a sentence strip. (I help with 5 and 6, but he's almost ready to do those on his own, too!) SOOO proud of my little guy!
Jamie and I were sitting in Brady's room, talking, while the boys were playing. Jayden asked Brady, "Do you want me to rock you?" Brady said, "Cock-cock" and the two of them climbed up and started rocking away.
I love that Jayden always wants to "hold" Brady and that Brady loves to be held!
Funny story...when I laid Jayden's clothes out this morning, he asked what his shirt said on it. When I told him, "Old Navy," he asked,
"Mommy, why do you want me to wear a shirt on it that says,
OLD LADY?"
I was cracking up!
We had a "cold" spell a few weeks ago. I woke up and said, "Wow, it's cold!" That's all it took for Jayden, he ran in and found his warm clothes and was ready to go! I thought it was cute that he put gloves on little brother, too.
Most of these are very blurry, but my phone is getting pretty old and if the kids move at all, the picture is blurry. I still love the pics though! Jayden was putting his slippers on Brady because he said Brady wanted to, "Try them out!"...
These two little guys love to race around the house in these cars. We have a "U" shaped hallway, so they have a lot of space to race around. Jayden pretends like his car is a police car
and Brady drives the fire truck.
Jayden LOVES footie-jammies. He seriously asks to wear them constantly! The night I mentioned it was cold, he had them on in no time. Haha! I love the heat, but this little boy really needs it to start cooling off. Brady is in the background, working on the light switches. He can now reach them, so his new trick is to turn them on in every room. :)
While I was putting away groceries, I looked over and found the boys laying on the ground. I have NO idea what they were doing. I had just finished coupon shopping for about 2 hours (I saved $29 in coupons, go me!), so I guess they needed to stretch out.
Ali and Brady having a snack.
A lot of our "babies" are growing up and aren't babies anymore! These two play so well together. We love having her here. Brady loves to sit at the big boy table. Can't believe how big he is getting.
Brady is finally warming up to people. He is still quite the Mama's Boy, but at least he is letting Lindsey and Lorinda hold him. :)  He even cuddled up to Scott yesterday when Scott asked to hold him. I love watching my friends love on my kids. One day while Lindsey was here, Brady picked up a book and took it to her to read to him. Love it!
I bought this "truck" so I would have more places to store Jayden's truck/car collection. However, I loaded the truck full of toys and as soon as I put them in, these two little boys took them right back out. They decided it was a better idea to "drive" the truck.
I love moments like these!
Sundays are one of my favorite days of the week. I love church, hanging out at lunch with friends and family after church, and spending the day as a family. This past month, I've been volunteering in the 3 Year Old Class. They split the 3, 4, and 5 Year Old Class and we have seventeen 3 Year Olds! How cool is that!?!?! We have an amazing church family with a ton of little kids! (There are 30 kids in the 4-5 class! Yay!)
Reed, Jayden, and Sameul are buddies.
In Sunday School, they hang out together, play together, and have fun together. When it was time for a short video, I asked all the kids to have a seat on a circle (they are in squares, so each kid has their own space) on the carpet. These three friends always seem to find each other, and sit together. Circles?? Who needs a circle...they all sit as close as they can to each other. This past week, they were almost all 3 in one square.
I love it!!!! (Not sure what happened to J's sticker?)
Since Jayden was born, we've said he has a "Charlie Brown" head. He grew into it, but for the longest time, he was a bald, big-headed baby (But an absolutely adorable one!). Well, I was trying to find the boys matching beanies at Target. However...my Charlie Brown Boy couldn't find one to fit his head. We will be moving up to boys/youth sizes now, which is a total bummer because it's so hard to find matching ones.
But...I'm not giving up! :)
Brady is at the stage where he loves hats and I think he is so cute in them!
Two of Brady's favorite things...hats and books.
Brady will bring you book after book if you'll continue reading to him. I love that he has such a desire to read. He often times sits and looks at the books and jabbers away, pretending to read. :)
I have a lot of fun pictures to upload from my camera. I will do it soon!
Have a great week!
