Halloween Fun!

Jayden loves to paint!
So, we got out paint and decided to make Halloween decorations!
This time of year brings back so many great memories of being in the classroom. There are so many fun art activities I used to do with my students. Now, I can do them with Jayden and Brady.  :)
We made spiders out of Jayden's hands.
I got the black paint out and he really wanted to paint a green spider.
Green is his favorite color!
Jayden loved adding the googly eyes to his spider.
He was counting the spider's legs.
We also did some sponge pumpkin painting.
I wanted Brady to paint too! I tried to paint his hands with the paint, but as soon as I got them dirty, he started crying. Ha! So, I let him paint with the paintbrush for a little bit.
He liked it for a while...
But, then got some on his hands and started crying again.
We'll try again soon. :)
Jayden was so proud of his Halloween Art!
 All done!
 Spider!
After baths, I was reading a book to Jayden and Brady. Jayden asked if he could read to Brady when we were done. I agreed. Brady climbed up next to Jayden, and this was the outcome. So sweet!
These are with my cell phone, so the color is off, but still priceless!
Jayden does a great job of "reading" the story by looking at the pictures.
His kindergarten teacher is going to love me! Haha!
 I love my boys!
Look at Brady's face. He loves to listen to brother's stories.
Playing after the story. Jayden was explaining to Brady how to draw.
Jayden has a stuffed animal, "REX" from Toy Story. I bought it for him and told him it was a "Magic Rex" and it would help him stay in his bed!! It worked for the most part, but then he wanted Magic Rex to be with him all the time. When Jayden has breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Rex wants to eat with him. So, I prepare a drink and a meal for Rex. (Pretend of course!) Here's a picture of Magic Rex drinking his milk.
I love Jayden's imagination. Rex always wants to sit right by Jayden, so Jayden always moves his chair as close to his as he can.
I hope you have a great weekend
!
