I realized how far behind I was when I uploaded pics and saw these! Oops! Before Easter we colored Easter eggs! It was so fun this year because Brady
is old enough to participate and love it, too!
He was pretty excited over it!
Jayden did so well! I don't think any of his eggs broke!
When we first started, Brady grabbed a few eggs and hit them on the side of the table. That's what you do with eggs, right? Break them open? :)
It was so much fun to watch the expression on their faces.
Jayden took it very seriously.
Brady was so patient.
I remember doing this as a kid and I remember how fun it was.
I love that we are continuing these traditions with our boys.
We would leave the eggs out on the table and when the Easter Bunny would come deliver our baskets, he would hide the eggs as well. So funny to think about it now, but as a kid, it was so cool and exciting.
Jayden had a dinosaur egg decorating kit. He is so good about listening to the directions before he begins a project...most of the time! ;)
Just like Christmas, we leave a note and cookies out for the Easter Bunny.
