Happy 3rd Birthday Jayden!!

Last Sunday our big boy turned 3!

 We asked him what he wanted for breakfast and he said, "A donut and a Sprite."

 We had a low-key day. We didn't go to church because Brady has been sick (I'll elaborate about that later), so we stayed home and just spent the day relaxing and making the day all about JAYDEN!

 Grandma made Jayden a very special cake. It was an airplane!

Grandma made the same cake for Jamie years ago, so the tradition continues.

 While growing up, my parents let my sister and I choose our favorite restaurant to go to the day of our birthday. We would go as a family, then have a party and celebrate with our friends a different day. We plan to continue that tradition with our boys. However, since we stayed home that day, we asked Jayden where he wanted us to get his special dinner from. We explained we would bring it back to our house and eat it at home this time. He chose, "BAKERS!" Haha! Our boy loves cheeseburgers!

This little guy has really had a rough few weeks. He caught a nasty virus going around called a, "GI Viral Infection." It's only supposed to last 5 days, but he got it for two weeks. His little body just couldn't fight it off. He wouldn't eat for 3-4 days and lost 2 pounds. We are finally on the mend and he has his appetite back.

 This is Brady hanging on my leg. Since he's been sick, he's become very spoiled! (Even more than before, if that's possible?) Now, he thinks he needs to be carried all the time. It's going to be a rough habit to break, but I keep reminding myself...they are only little once. Gaga had Spring Break this week,
so she was over every single day to help me in some way.

Jayden's actual birthday party is tomorrow! 

He can't wait to celebrate with all his buddies!
He chose to have a Lightning McQueen party.
